Jasmine Sheu, Counselor

B.A. in Psychology, SUDRC I

I’m a Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor I with a background in psychology and a strong interest in trauma-informed, evidence-based care. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz and have years of experience working in residential treatment supporting clients in early recovery. I facilitate groups, assist with treatment planning, and work one-on-one with residents to build insight into the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I’m especially passionate about identity development, addiction recovery, and helping clients reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way. My approach draws from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based work, but more than anything, I try to show up consistently, honestly, and with compassion.

I value structure, accountability, and community in recovery. I believe change happens when people feel both supported and challenged in a safe space. I’m grateful to be part of a team that prioritizes connection, growth, and real healing.
