Kelly Somerfield brings over a decade of diverse culinary experience to her role as Head Chef and Culinary Department Manager at Summit Estate. Holding an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Silicon Valley and a Certificate in Healthy Living from Cornell University, Kelly is deeply committed to the philosophy that food can be a powerful tool for healing.
Her passion lies in creating nourishing, thoughtfully prepared meals that support both physical recovery and emotional well-being. Drawing on a wide-ranging background in the culinary arts, Kelly leads our kitchen with a focus on balanced nutrition, holistic care, and the restorative potential of food. She plays a vital role in helping our clients rebuild their health and their lives, one plate at a time.
In her free time, Kelly is an avid Bay Area sports fan (San Jose Sharks, SF Giants and 49ers) and attends as many games as she can. Kelly also enjoys reading and watching anything true crime related, spending time with her friends and family and exploring her new hobby of hiking!
