Sergei Vidov is the owner and CEO of Summit Estate Recovery Centers, a high-end dual diagnosis addiction treatment group located in Silicon Valley.
He joined Summit in 2017 and focused on developing it into a premier program serving Big Tech executives and other professionals in the Bay Area.
In 2023, Summit launched Fortitude Recovery, a specialized trauma-focused dual diagnosis program designed exclusively for First Responders and Veterans. The program provides confidential, judgment-free care for trauma, substance use, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Under Sergei’s leadership, Summit Estate has been recognized by Newsweek Magazine as one of the top 5 addiction treatment facilities in California for the alst five years consecutive years.
Prior to acquiring Summit, Sergei spent more than a decade in addiction treatment administration beginning in 2007. In 2014 he founded a revenue cycle management company that supported numerous treatment centers nationwide, giving him deep expertise in the financial and operational complexities of healthcare.
In 2016 he became one of the founding board members of the Addiction Treatment Advocacy Coalition (ATAC), serving three years as Treasurer. In that role he helped shape the organization’s financial strategy, secure its long-term sustainability, and advocate for expanded insurance coverage and equitable access to quality care.
Before entering the field of addiction treatment, Sergei grew up as the youngest son of a prominent Russian-American actor and director. From the age of 16 he worked in every aspect of the film industry – starting as a gopher and grip, advancing through production assistant and producer roles (with IMDb credits on multiple animated series and documentaries), and ultimately serving as Director of International Sales for several film distribution companies. There he led global sales initiatives, managed major international accounts, and forged lasting partnerships with distributors around the world.
